IIT kharagpur- LLB Programme in Intellectual Property Rights

The Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL) of IIT Kharagpur is engaged in teaching and research of Law with special emphasis on IPL. It has commenced its academic activities from the Academic Year 2008-09 . The first course introduced by the school is:
Six-Semester, Three-Year Full-Time residential LL.B. Programme leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Law with specialization in Intellectual Property Rights, at par with the LL.B. Degree requirements of the Bar Council of India;

Eligibility
First Class Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine or equivalent.
OR
First Class Masters Degree in Science or Pharmacy.
OR
MBA with Science/ Engineering background.
Admission will be a two-step process:
All India written test for entrance to be conducted at Kharagpur and other centers as may be decided by the Institute from time to time.
From the list of qualified candidates from the entrance test, the final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of GD/PI at Kharagpur and other centers as may be decided by the Institute from time to time.
Results will be communicated through email which can be downloaded.
