CIFNET Cochin - Bachelor of Fisheries Science (Nautical Science) Admissions 2008
Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical & Engineering Training (CIFNET), Cochin invites applications for Bachelor of Fisheries Science (Nautical Science) – A 4- year programme (8 semester) with integrated practicals & on board training on ocean going fishing vessels .
The Programme is affiliated to Cochin University of Science & Technology,
Eligibility:
10 + 2 with minimum 50% marks in Mathematics and Science.
Age limit: Minimum 16 years and Maximum 20 years as on 1st October, 2008.
Mode of selection: Entrance Test, Academic Merit in (10 + 2) and Interview.
How to Apply:
Application form and Prospectus can be obtained from the Director, CIFNET, Fine Arts Avenue, Kochi – 16, on payment of Rs.250/- (Rs.125/- for SC/ST) by Demand Draft payable at Ernakulam only, drawn in favour of Sr. Administrative Officer, CIFNET and a self addressed and stamped(Rs.15)envelope (A size). Application forms can also be had in person from the Institute HQ at Kochi and Units: CIFNET Unit, 59, S.N. Chetty Street, Royapuram, Chennai - 600 013 OR CIFNET Unit, Beach Road, Visakhapatnam - 530 001 OR can be downloaded from the Institute website www.cifnet.gov.in and applied with the above fees.
