Kamala Nehru College Delhi recruits Faculty (only Women) and Non teaching staff under various Departments

Applications on prescribed format are invited for the following Teaching (only women) and Non-Teaching posts, so as to reach the college office by 01/09/2008 :

I. Teaching posts : Scale of Pay: Rs.8000-13500/-

1. Commerce : 1 (SC) Permanent
2. Economics : 1 (OBC) Permanent
3. Geography : 2 posts (UR) Permanent-1, Temporary-1
4. Hindi : 02 posts (UR-1, OBC-1) Permanent
5. Mathematics : 1 (OBC) Permanent
6. Philosophy : 1 (OBC) Permanent
7. Political Science : 1 (ST) Permanent
8. Sociology : 1 (OBC) Permanent

II. Non-Teaching posts :

1. Administrative Officer : 1 post (UR) Permanent, Pay Scale : Rs.8000-13500
2. Jr. Assistant cum Typist : 4 posts (UR) Permanent, Pay Scale : Rs.3050-4590
3. Mali : 2 posts (UR-1, SC-1) Permanent, Pay Scale : Rs.2550-3200
4. Office Attendant : 2 posts (OBC-1, UR-1) Permanent, Pay Scale : Rs.2550-3200

Qualification
Good academic record with atleast 55% of marks (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PH or those who have passed their Master’s Degree prior to 19/09/91 and hold a Ph.D. degree) or an equivalent grade of B in the seven point scale with later grade O,AB,C,D,E & F at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.
Applicants should have NET qualification conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC. However M.Phil. or Ph.D. Degree holders in the respective subjects are exempted from NET.

Applications Forms
Application Forms can be had from the College Office on any working day between 10.00 AM to 3.00 PM on payment of Rs.50/- & Rs.10/- for Mali and Office Attendant (no fee for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates) in cash or through DD in favour of the Principal, Kamala Nehru College. Those who wish to take Application Forms through post send DD along with a self-addressed stamped envelop of 9″ x 4″ size.
