Employees’ State Insurance Corporation is a statutory body constituted under an Act of Parliament (ESI Act, 1948) and works under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
The Corporation proposes to start Post Graduate Medical Courses and Medical Colleges in its hospitals and action has been initiated to obtain the approval of Central Government and Medical Council of India (as per the prescribed procedure) to start the Post Graduate and under-graduate Medical courses w.e.f. the year 2009-10.
Applications in the prescribed form are invited for Teaching Faculty Positions in ESI Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science & Research and Employees’ State Insurance Corporation Medical College in the State of Delhi - 240 Posts, Madhya Pradesh - 163, Maharashtra – 431 Posts, West Bengal – 487 Posts, Andhra Pradesh - 213 Posts, Gujarat - 273 Posts and Karnataka - 298 Posts for appointment on deputation / contract basis.
