Application Fee
Fees of Rs.50/- is to be paid by each candidate for all the posts except fireman and security attendant. Fee should be paid by way of Indian Postal Order (IPO) in favour of

Payable at Delhi. SC/ST candidates are exempted for the fee for all posts.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. ELIGIBILTY CRITERIA
A) The educational qualification, age etc as stipulated in SECTION-‘A’ shall be determined with reference to the closing date of advertisement.

B) Candidates must have read the required subject at least for 2 years in the degree programme.

C)The candidates must be a citizen of India.

D)Candidates must be in good mental & physical health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient discharge of duties. A candidate after such medical examination as may be prescribed by the competent authority, if found not to satisfy those requirements, will not be appointed. Only such candidates as are likely to be considered for appointment will be medically examined.

E) Government Servants must apply through proper channel F) On verification at any stage of selection process, if it is found that individual does not fulfill any of the eligibility criteria, his/her candidature for the post applied for will be cancelled

2. FEES & MODE OF PAYMENT
Non-Refundable Fees of Rs.50/-is to be paid by each candidate .Fee should be paid only through INDIAN POSTAL ORDER (IPO) in favor of “ The Director, CEPTAM, DRDO, Delhi”, Payable at Delhi.
Cheque/Draft/cash/Money Order will not be accepted in any condition. Candidates applying for the posts under Post Code. 1301-1601 are not required to pay any fee.SC/ ST/Ex-Serviceman/PH candidates are exempted for the fee for all post.

3. AGE RELAXATION
The age limit will be relaxable for SC, ST, OBC, PHP, Ex-Serviceman, Govt. Servants, Widows and divorced women (who have been judicially separated from husband and not remarried) as per the rule prescribed by the Govt.
of India. Relaxable age limit may be referred from the website www.drdo.org

4. RESERVATION BENEFITS
A) Reservation benefits will be available to the candidates in accordance with the instructions/orders/circulars, issued by .Govt of India from time to time. IMPORTANT: Candidates who wish to be considered against reserved vacancies & to seek age & fee relaxation, must support their claim by submitting duly attested copies of relevant certificates issued by Competent/Govt. Notified authority along with their application, otherwise their claim for any
relaxation/reservation etc will not be entertained and their application will be considered as if same are from General (UR) category candidates.

B) Reservation for Physically Handicapped (PH): As per PH reservation roaster
of DRDO, the reserved vacancies for PH are mentioned against each post.PH candidates applying for unreserved posts will be treated as general candidate.

C) Ex-Serviceman (Ex SM): The person who has served in any rank in
regular Army, Navy or Air Force and retired after earning Pension or any other relevant terms & conditions of Govt. of India.D)Meritorious Sportspersons: The person will be eligible who has represented in the Nation/State/University/District and those who have been awarded national awards in Physical Efficiency Drive.

5. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
It is mandatory for the candidates for the post of Fireman ‘A’, Fire Engine Driver, Security Assistant ‘A’, Security Attendant ’A’ to pass the prescribed Physical Endurance & Medical tests as per DRDO norms.

6. HIGHER QUALIFICATION
Candidates possessing higher qualification like M.Sc or B.Tech/B.E, M.Tech, Ph.D. etc shall not be considered for the recruitment to the posts of Senior Technical Assistant ‘A’& Technician ‘A’.

7. FORMAT OF APPLICATION
Application should only be typed on A-4 size white plain paper in exact format provided in advertisement or may be downloaded from the website www.drdo.org .The variation in the format of application will lead to the rejection
of application form.

8. MODE OF SELECTION
A) Candidate will be shortlisted on valid criteria prescribed and adopted by CEPTAM and selection will be based on pooled merit of post/category/sub-category of the candidate which will be based on the marks obtained in written exam and Interview taken together.

B) It will be mandatory for the candidates to pass Trade/Skill test (including Stenography & Typing), Physical Endurance Test, Driving and Medical test as may be applicable as per
SECTION ‘A’ of advertisement/ recruitment rules.

9. EXAMINATION CENTRES AND CODE
Based on the number of candidates, Examination centres will be fixed in 01-Ahmedabad, 02-Balasore, 03-Banglore, 04-Bhopal, 05-Chandigarh, 06-Chennai, 07-Delhi, 08-Guwahati, 09-Hyderabad, 10-Jodhpur, 11-
Kanpur, 12-Kochi, 13-Kolkata, 14-Patna, 15-Pune. Candidates are advised to choose only one Exam centre. However CEPTAM reserves the right to add/delete any Exam centre depending upon the number of applicants and availability of the Centre etc.

10. SCHEME OF EXAMINATION
The written Examination will be OMR based, of 2 hours duration, consisting of 150 multiple choice questions for all posts.
