The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd., a Navratna company occupies the Numero Uno position with its large and diversified fleet, operating in nearly all segments of shipping viz. break-bulk services, container services, liquid and dry bulk services, offshore services and passenger services. The company also mans and manages vessels on behalf of various government bodies. The SCI continues to grow through strategic alliances and new business opportunities.

The company is on the look out for professional managers in the Treasury Management function at the level of General Manager and Deputy General Manager and in the Finance & Accounting function at Manager level at Mumbai.

Qualification :
A post graduate in Management (MBA) with specialization in finance from a reputed institute / Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / CAAIB. Candidates working in reputed commercial banks as direct recruits in officers’ cadre having requisite skills will also be considered.
13 years managerial experience in various areas of Finance and Accounts for General Manager and 9 years managerial experience for Deputy General Managers including 3 years experience in Corporate/Bank Treasury handling foreign currency swaps, exchange risk management and related matters, either as a dealer or Risk Manager.
Good knowledge of foreign exchange market and derivative products.

Age Limit :
Upper age limit is 40 years for General Manager and 36 years for Deputy General Manager. The age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (non-creamy layer). Further relaxation of 5 years would be given to physically handicapped candidates.

Scale of Pay
The selected candidates will be placed in the following Scales of Pay

General Manager - Rs. 17500-400-22300

Dy. General Manager - Rs. 16000-400-20800

Manager - Rs. 14500-350-18700
