The U.P. Rural Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (RIMSR), Saifai, Etawah is the state-of-art established by the Govt. of Uttar Pradesh with very high vision to improve the health services in rural areas, on the pattern of AIIMS, New Delhi & Sanjay Gandhi PGIMS, Lucknow. It is a first National level institute which has been established in rural area.

Applications are invited for the following vacancies of Medical Faculty. The candidates will be called for interview after 10 December, 2008

Venue of interview is RIMS&R, Saifai, Etawah Administrative Block.

Professor (Sr. Grade) : Rs.18400-22400
Professor (Jr. Grade) : Rs.16400-20000
Associate Professor : Rs.14300-18300
Assistant Professor : Rs.11625-15200
Lecturer : Rs.8550-14600

Qualification : Medical qualification. Post Graduate qualification e.g. MD or equivalent.

Experience
Professor (Sr. Grade) - As Reader/ Associate Professor in the Deptt. for four years (After MD 14 years Teaching Experience)
Professor (Jr. Grade) - As Reader/ Associate Professor in the Department for four years (After MD 10 years teaching Experience)
Associate Professor - As Assistant Professor/ Lecturer in the Department for 5 years (After MD 6 years teaching Experience)
Assistant Professor - Recognised postgraduate qualification in the subject and 3 years post PG teaching experience.
Lecturer - Recognised postgraduate qualification in the subject and 1 year post PG teaching experience.

Age as on 01/07/08
Lecturer-35 years
Assistant Professor-40 years
Associate Professor-45 years
Professor (Jr. Grade) –50 years
Professor (Sr. Grade) – 55 years
Relaxation for retired personnel and suitable candidates.
