Job Title:	Engineer – Commissioning (All Disciplines)

Position Description:
Supervision and execution of complex function testing and commissioning work. Ensure compliance with HSEQ objectives and Permits to work systems as detailed within the Commissioning Procedures

Position Requirements:
* Obey the HSEQ Management System during all phases of the work * Work within the confines of and raise the necessary Permits to Work * Be aware of and follow the Commissioning strategy associated with the discipline * Work within the confines of the Commissioning quality and safety procedures * Install temporary systems and equipment that have been specified and procured for commissioning purposes * Work alongside and direct specialist contractors and vendors required for commissioning * Complete the works as specified in the Commissioning and start-up Procedures and Method statements * Complete and hand over data for download to the completions and commissioning databases * Follow recommendations identified in risk assessments * Conduct toolbox talks with the technicians to describe the work to be performed and any risks involved * Execute preservation requirements as identified by the Commissioning Engineer * Attend training courses as identified * Work to daily work schedules and direct Commissioning Technicians accordingly * Control Job Card allocation and completion * Co-ordinate CA witnessing requirements * Return progress reports to the Commissioning Engineer * Work with the Commissioning Engineer in accepting Mechanically Complete systems and sub-systems from the Fabricator or Vendor and agreeing any outstanding punch list items * Work with the Commissioning Engineer in generating punch lists during Mechanical Completion, pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities * Perform complex functional and dynamic Commissioning activities * Raise any equipment failure reports * Pour first fills and lubes in accordance with specifications * Provide assistance to Operations during start-up and initial operation * Assist the Commissioning Engineer with handover documentation * Provide assistance with Performance Testing of equipment * Prepare as built drawings and records on completion of commissioning Qualification & Experience Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Chemical, Petroleum or Scientific Discipline. Minimum 5 years experience in the commissioning of major oil & gas/petrochemical/steam or power facilities.
