NOTIFICATION
Applications are invited from qualified Indian citizens for appointment to the post of ASSISTANT in the High Court of Kerala. Applications will be received only online and not by post or any other means/mode. Candidates have to apply online through the websites

The sites will be open from 05.11.2008 to 19.12.2008, upto 5 p.m.

1. Name of post – ASSISTANT

2. Scale of pay – 7990-12930

3. Number of Vacancies – 30 (Anticipated)

Vacancies that may arise during the period of validity of the rank list shall also be filled up from the list.

4. Method of appointment - Direct Recruitment

5. Age limit - Should have completed 18 years of age and should not have completed 35 years of age as on 01.01.2008.

6. Qualification –

i. Bachelors Degree in the first or second class or equivalent grade with a Awarded or minimum of 50% marks recognised by any
for optional subjects. of the Universities or in Kerala

ii. Masters Degree
or

iii. Law Degree In the case of SC/ST candidates, graduates with third class are also qualified to apply.

Desirable: Knowledge in computer operations.

7. Application Fee – Rs. 200/-

(SC/ST and unemployed Physically Handicapped candidates are exempted from
payment of fees.)

Mode of payment of application fee:

(a) Payment within Kerala: Candidates making payment of fees within
Kerala shall remit the fee in Savings Bank Account No. 30208033244 of State Bank of India, High Court Branch, Ernakulam through any of the Core Banking Service branches of the State Bank of India using the cash voucher in the special format appended to this notification. [For details, see instruction 6(a)(i)]

(b) Payment outside Kerala :
Candidates making payment of fee outside Kerala shall pay the fee by remittance in Savings Bank Account No. 30208033244 of State Bank of India, High Court Branch, Ernakulam in the name of Registrar General, High Court of Kerala, Ernakulam, through any Core Banking Service branch of State Bank of India using the usual pay-in-slip available at the bank OR by Demand Draft drawn in favour of Registrar General, High Court of Kerala, Ernakulam payable at Ernakulam issued by a nationalised bank
