Research Internships in Science and Engineering
Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) established under an agreement between Governments of India and United States of America partners with Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) to launch Research Internships in Science and Engineering (RISE) Program to create unique opportunities for science, technology, engineering and medical students from India & United States to undertake internships in national laboratories, federal research centres, academic research institutes, and private R & D laboratories in each others country.

Application invited from Indian students for RISE program
We also invite institutions in India to join RISE Program by hosting American Interns

RISE will provide students:
International professional experiences
Enhanced practical skills
Insight to opportunities offered by host institutions
Work experience in international teams
Exposure to science and culture of the country
Life-long professional network

Eligibility: Indian/American Citizen, Open to science, engineering, technology and medical disciplines

Ph.D. and Master students currently enrolled at a recognized institution of higher education in India/United states

Internship includes
● Monthly stipend ● Accommodation ● Airfare
