Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management is a multi campus institute
established in 1983 for developing human resources in tourism, travel and allied sectors.
Institute interalia offers two-year PGDM programmes approved by AICTE and
(equivalent to MBA) in Tourism & Travel, Tourism & Leisure, International Business
and Services through its centers at Gwalior, Bhubaneswar and Delhi. The institute invites

Essential Qualifications:
1. Two-year Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Business Management or
relevant management related discipline with minimum 60% marks
recognized by AICTE/UGC and declared as equivalent to MBA. In case of
non-management/non-technical subjects, the candidate must have obtained
minimum 55% marks in the relevant subject.
2. Ph.D. or a fellow of IIMs, ICA or ICWA.
3. A minimum of 10 years experience in a recognized educational institution
of repute/university/professional body of which 5 years should be at the
level of Reader or equivalent. Persons having only industrial experience,
in addition to Point.1 shall have professional work which is significant and
can be recognized as equivalent to Ph.D. degree along with 10 years
managerial experience of which at least 5 years should be at a senior level
comparable to that of a Reader.

Desirable Qualifications:
1. Industrial/ Professional experience of five years at a senior level.
2. Experience in teaching.

Essential qualifications:
1. Two-year Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Business Management or

of teaching and /or research excluding the period spent for obtaining a
research degree and has made some work in the areas of scholarship as
evidenced by quality of publication, contribution to educational
innovation, design of new course and curriculum.

Essential Qualifications:
1. Two-year Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management or relevant
management related discipline with minimum 60% marks recognized by
AICTE/UGC and declared as equivalent to MBA. In case of nonmanagement/
non-technical subjects, the candidate must have obtained
minimum 55% marks in the relevant post-graduate degree and must have
qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) for Lecturers conducted by
UGC/CSIR. Those with Ph.D. degree are exempted from NET.

Essential Qualifications:
1. 10+2 with a certificate in stenography from recognized institution with
minimum speed of 80/40 wpm in English shorthand/typewriting.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Graduate from a recognized University.
2. Knowledge of computer and Hindi typewriting.

due date will not be considered and no further correspondence will be entertained.

3. The courses/ subjects which are notified by AICTE (under the purview of AICTE)
would be treated as technical/ management and other courses/ subjects would be
considered as non-technical/ non-management. .
4. Candidates desirous of applying for more than one post must apply separately.
5. All newly recruited faculty members will have to join at Gwalior initially for an
induction programme and subsequently be posted at any center of IITTM.
6. Those already in service should send their application through proper channel or
produce a No Objection Certificate before the interview.
7. Institute reserves the right to modify the conditions, fill / not to fill the post/s and
can increase / decrease the number of vacancies. Higher starting salary can also
be considered for deserving candidates.
