Requires workmen trainees in the following posts

Name of Post – Attendant I Trainee (Instrumentation)
No of Posts -1 Reserved for Persons with Disabilities, who are Orthopaedically Handicapped (OH)
(40% disability)

Qualification
ITI- National Trade Certificate (NTC) in (Instrument Mechanic)
or (Process Control Instrumentation) (60% marks) and National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).

Name of Post – Operator III Trainee (IT)
No of Posts 1 (OBC) Reserved for Persons with Disabilities, who are Hearing Impaired (HH)-PD
(40% disability)

Qualification
Diploma certificate (3 year course) in computer hardware or software with 60% marks or First class.

Age : 35 years as on 31st December, 2008; 38 years in the case of OBC (NCL) candidates.

Training, emoluments and placement
Selected candidates will undergo on the job training for one and a half year (18 months). During the training period, Attendant I trainee will be paid a consolidated

stipend of Rs. 4000/-p.m. in the first year and

Operator III Trainee Rs 5000/p.m. in the first year
and Rs 5500/-p.m. in the second year.

On successful completion of training and if found suitable, Attendant I trainee will be considered for placement in the grade of W3 in the workmen cadre in the

pay scale of Rs.4450 – 95 – 5115-105-6375 and Operator III Trainee in the grade of W5 in the

pay scale of Rs.4850 – 115 -5655-125-7155,

the pay scales of which are due for revision w.e.f 01.01.2007 with Public sector Dearness Allowance.

Other benefits include Leave Travel Concession, Gratuity, Contributory Provident Fund, Conveyance Reimbursement, Medical Facilities, Group Insurance, Company accommodation or HRA as per Company Rules.

General Informations and Conditions:
1. Persons employed with Government or Semi-government Organisation /Public Sector Undertakings should submit their application through proper channel.

2. Candidates should posses latest medical certificate indicating their percentage of disability issued by an authorized Medical Board constituted by the Government of India/State Government.

3. Candidates desiring to be considered against the quota reserved for OBC should have in their possession a recent certificate from the Tahsildar or other competent authority approved by the Govt. Of India certifying that they do not belong to the “creamy layer” of the OBC community.

4. Application with incomplete information and/or not accompanied with attested copies of certificates/mark lists/ testimonials regarding age, qualifications, National Apprenticeship Certificate and caste/community are liable to be rejected.
