The above vacancy is now in existence. A short List/ Probability list will be prepared as part of the selection process by including not less than 10 candidates (if available) in the Main List with necessary Supplementary Lists.

The list of selected candidates published by the Commission in response to this notification shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year provided that the said list will continue to be in force till the publication of a new list after the expiry of the minimum period of one year or till the expiry of three years whichever is earlier. Candidate will be advised from the said list against the vacancy noted above and those that may be reported to the Commission in writing during the currency of the list.

5. Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment

6. Age Limit : Must have completed 25(twenty five) years of age and must not have completed 46 (forty six) years of age as on 01.01.2009, with usual relaxation to scheduled castes, scheduled tribes and other backward communities.

7. Qualifications:-
1. First or Second class Master’s Degree with a minimum of 50% marks in Anthropology /Sociology acquired after a regular course of study from a recognized University.

2. Ph.D. in any of the above subjects with field experience in the respective subjects preferably in Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes subjects; and

3. Minimum 10 years Research/Teaching experience, after Post Graduation, on subjects related to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
