training providing company. We are located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. We
provide academic training /projects for students of Life
Science(Biotech,Microbio,Biochem)courses and immediate freshers for the duration
of 1month/3months/6 months. We have well equipped laboratory to provide the best
facility to students.

SERVICES: Projects
Orange Lifesciences (P) Ltd offers projects in the field of MOLECULAR BIOLOGY, GENETIC ENGINEERING, MICROBIOLOGY, BIOCHEMISTRY, ENZYMOLOGY, PLANT BIOCHEMISTRY, AGRICULTURAL BIOTECHNOLOGY, BIOINFORMATICS, PLANT TISSUE CULTURE, IMMUNOLOGY, INDUSTRIAL BIOTECHNOLOGY and ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE.
We offer mainly two types of projects-

• Academic projects as part of graduation / post graduation courses—-for B.tech, M.tech, B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm students.
• Research Projects—-for working Professional from pharma /biotech companies, M.Phil, PhD scholars.

The students can put forward their own ideas for the project work (customized projects) which shall be encouraged by us based on the feasibility and time span; else the students can also opt from the project list provided by us.
We are not adopting any kit based procedures and all the projects are live. The students get the complete freedom to perform everything of their own on original samples and reagents.

MICROBIAL STUDIES:

• Antimicrobial activity of Phytochemicals.
• Antimicrobial activities (bacterial & fungal).
• Cultivation & propagation of viruses through bird embryo.
• Selective culturing of bacteria from various sources.
• Identification of medically important pathogens.
• Dairy microbial studies # Microbial interaction studies.

MOLECULAR BIOLOGY & GENETIC ENGINEERING:

• Genomic DNA isolation (from Bacterial, Animal & Plant sources) and its analysis.
• Plasmid DNA isolation, restriction digestion, mapping & ligation.
• RFLP analysis.
• Blotting techniques.
• Protein profiling studies.

ENZYMOLOGY:

• Enzyme isolation from microbial, animal & plant sources.
• Enzyme inhibition studies.
• Enzyme immobilization studies.

IMMUNOLOGY:

• Isolation & purification of antibodies.
• Standardization of ELISA for bacterial & viral diseases.
• Western blotting.

CLINICAL BIOCHEMISTRY:

• Assay of SGOT, SGPT.
• Diagnostic studies of diseases.

We have a list of available training programs for variable durations. Students have option to choose various training programs as their convenience of time. Students can enquire about available batches through phone or email.

Presentations, debates and interactive sessions are all part of the training programs to develop the communication and presentation skills.

4-7days programmes (quick training program in)

1. Common staining techniques (direct, indirect, capsule, endospore, flageller, acid fast)
2. ELISA (Antibody capture, Sandwich, Competitive)
3. Restriction digestion + Ligation + Mapping
4. Immunological detection techniques (HCG, HBsAg, WIDAL, RPR, HIV, ODD, CCIEP, RID, RIA, Viral Ag detection by rapid immuno-chromatographic cassette assay method).
5. Isolation and identification of plasmid and genomic DNA.
6. Green fluorescent protein cloning.
7. IMViC rapid test
8. Isolation of different types of bacteria by selective solid media method and characteristics.
9. Immunological techniques (ODD, CCIEP, RID, RIA, Rocket Immunoelectrophoresis, Viral Ag detection by rapid immuno-chromatographic cassette assay method).
10. Chromatographic techniques (Paper, TLC, Column, Ion-exchange, Affinity, Gel filtration)

7-15days programmes (short term trainings in)

1. Gene transfer techniques (Transformation, Conjugation  Transduction)
2. Biochemical quantitative and qualitative estimations
3. Water quality analysis (BOD, COD, MPN, P-A TEST, Defined substrate test, VIABLE CELL COUNT)
4. Immunological characterization (extraction and purification of antigen and antibodies, conjugation and labeling of antibodies, ODD, CCIEP)
5. Dairy microbial techniques.
6. Green Fluorescent Protein cloning.
7. Assay of enzymes for pH, temp, enzyme concentration, substrate concentration, inhibitors, activators.
8. Molecular characterization (for DNA, RNA and protein).
9. Biochemical characterization of bacteria.
10. Genomic DNA library preparation.
11. Production of enzymes.
12. Lab fermentation.

20-30 days programmes (certificate trainings in)

1. Clinical biochemistry (different blood tests, urine analysis for glucose, bilirubin, ketone, specific gravity, blood, pH, protein and urobilinogen).

Also we give 3-6 months industrial training for fresh graduates helping them to acquire work experience.
